Hello Cvetan and every.body
I navigate in the simulator, a lot using the trend that the green line or red line give to me.I believe I am not the only one.
The origin of this lines are alwais at, where my boat is at that moment.
If at a certain point, on the route, there is a glich, or a turning, them it start the gessing trend route.
How dificult is to do a moving origin to other black dots on the way, without changing nothing else?
Like clicing on the top of a dot.

Hope you understand the concept.
For me it would be great. And I belive for everybody who wants to program a point in the midle of the nigth, using a trend line.

Regards from Portugal
Pedro Sailing Sir Petrus.

There are few such requests already. Wish I had more time to do useful stuff like that instead of wasting my time chasing bugs in the game and writing browser extensions to help other players do it, but such is life ;-)

If need be, I totally agree with this overkilling feature ! :)

Personally, I have thought that this would be a nice feature. However I am amazed that you can do Zero (and all the the tasks associated with it), race two boats in every race, and have a day job. (Do you have a wife and if so has she threatened to kill you.)

I sugest, one left clik over a black dot to move the origin of the red/green/blue lines.

My idea was mode where right click sets a new origin with th option to select fixed twa/heading from/to there.

The hardest part would actually be designing the table that contains the instructions ;-)

I can do it in a day or two, but with VR3 there are a lot other tasks just to keep the router useful.

you also would need a timeshift to route form the new origin at the time that you will arrive there. The idea is that you can explore human decision based routes, right?

by the way, how does the option timeshift work exactly, Cvetan?

Timeshift moves the departure time to the actual time announced for the race/leg to let you observe and plan the route few days in advance.

For the track - yes, that's another related feature. There are already threads about both things - routing timeshift on black dots and manual track planning with turns/programmings.

That is a feature I would most like for Christmas.

Ideally It would be possible to be able to place waypoints on the router to analyse tactical options

than it comes close to analysing the programming options in VR to see which TWA or heading change is best and at what timestamp
