Colors of wind in the chart

Sorry to ask something maybe silly.
When I open a chart from the dashboard I get a chart with wind arrows in black.
Some days ago I read of another server: fr.zezo.org
So I just added fr. before the chart address I get from the dashboard and got a rainbow of colors. Wow. But as soon as I ask a new updated chart from the dashboard I get arrows back in black.
Is there a way to open fr.zezo.org directly from from the dashboard and get the colors?
My dashboard Version is 3.14.2, using chrome on a Mac with HighSierra.
What am I missing or doing wrong?

The four buttons at the top of the screen between the zoom level and wind selector change the wind appearance between none/black barbs/color barbs/color arrows.

Changing the site just resets it to the default view.

fr. is just a front-end proxy cache used to serve the map tiles and the wind data because my home connection is approaching its 100 MBit capacity at peak times. A VPS in Strasbourg with guaranteed 100 Mbit connection.

No real benefit of using it explicitly - the other pages are generated and served by zezo.org anyway, so it actually slows you down a bit.
