Yep. It was asked and answered yesterday ;-)

The cell is yellow when the speeds differ for no obvious reason (like wrong sail or penalty)

Usually it's caused by a small turn which changes the boats speed for some part of the report period, but the calculation is only done with single speed value.

A penalty would show in red.

Do you have a screenshot of the full table data? Hard to tell without the numbers.

Yes, you do get sail change penalty under Autosail (only if the sail actually changed of course). When it came out I think the VR3 release had a bug where you got penalized for switching AutoSail on and off, but no penalty for sail changes. This was corrected later.

The 124.58 is a glitch in the calculations. The extension tries to compensate for some cases, but fails (badly) sometimes.

The other two yellow fields are caused by TWA change in the middle of the cycle. The extension assumes that you sailed in the same conditions for the entire reporting period (because it only gets one set of numbers for speed and position)

IF yo made a change then the calculated speed will be lower or higher than the (single) reported speed value.

The idea of the yellow boxes is mostly to catch systematic errors - if each and every row is yellow, then VR have probably changed something about the polars or speed logic.
