How is the "factor" calculated. Some boats in my vicinity have a "factor" of 1.003 and others in the same wind and sails have a "factor" of 1.063?

The tooltip on the factor column says it's "the speed factor over a no-options boat, but that's not actually true. It's the speed factor provided only by the hull and foil options.

In addition, the base speed is always calculated based on the nominal sail the boat is using, while the VR engine actually use the faster sail when a boat is sailing in the sail change tolerance range.
