Hello, I heard time shift is supposed to change the time at which your boat is departing and weather etc to the start of the race. Only thing is when I press on timeshift it shows me the current weather conditions.

Is this normal????????????????

Works fine for me. The routing changes noticeably when I check or uncheck timeshift. The displayed wind is not automatically adjusted to the start time I think. Hover the mouse over the black dots on the routing to get detailed information, including time and wind.

Could someone explain a newbie what this option is suppose to do?

I would think it allows you to start routing from a given time in the future, however, when I right click and select the "time shift", I do not see any possibility to dial the time I would like zezo to start routing from.

In other words, I figured out how to set a new starting point, is it possible to define a starting time for the routing from that point in the future?

Thanks in advance.

Found the answer woth a Google search:
"After the start of the race, timeshift has no effect, and zezo will always give you the current forecast."

No need to answer me, thanks anyway ;-)

Hello,
Excellent post. It has been 2 races that I spend my time trying this function, without success. I thought I was bad but your post reassures me!
Too bad this function is not available during the race, this would allow simulations of other routes than the basic one proposed by Zezo, especially for long offshore races.
